Larry Rosen

Larry Rosen’s career in not-for-profit community work spans more than 50 years, the majority of which were in leadership positions in the YMCA, including 17 years as President/CEO of the YMCA of Metropolitan Los Angeles.  During his tenure in L.A., the Y became the 6th largest YMCA in the world with 25 community branches, 230,000 members, 3,000 staff and a $100 million operating budget; the L.A. Y raised more than $325 million in charitable contributions in these years, more than any other YMCA in the world. He then served 3 years as the Senior Advisor to the CEO of the YMCA of the USA.  Throughout his career he was a resource to other non-profit executives on fund raising, board development, marketing, strategic planning, organizational development and staff training – work he continues as an executive coach for the leaders of large not-for-profits across the country.
