BACKGROUND

Dr. Mandy Lehto is an experienced executive coach, thought leader, and host of Enough, the Podcast, a show for leaders whose lives look successful on the outside, but inside they’re hanging by a thread. In her previous career, Mandy was a Director in Global Markets at an international investment bank, serving central banks and hedge funds. She understands the pressures of a fast-paced, demanding job, and the toll it takes on health, parenthood, and romantic relationships. She nearly miscarried her daughter at 21 weeks due to work stress, and has been divorced twice (she’s now happily married). Mandy also had a debilitating burnout that took years to recover from. She shares this because senior leadership — while exciting and rewarding — also has a dark side. The leaders she coaches have one thing in common: Their lives are complicated, intense, and full of personal-professional tensions. And still, these leaders rise.

Mandy coaches senior leaders in finance, private equity, and other fast-paced industries. Her clients are exceedingly driven, prone to burnout, and often identify as overachievers and perfectionists. No achievement ever feels enough. They struggle to just be, even on holiday.

Mandy’s insights have been featured in Forbes, The Times, CNBC, Psychologies, efinancialcareers, Psychology Today, Huffington Post, and several other well-known publications. Her show, Enough, the Podcast, often features in the global top 100.

APPROACH + PHILOSOPHY

As an Executive Coach, Mandy helps her clients to clarify what “winning strategy” has been driving their lives (and the results they’re currently getting). She helps leaders to determine if that mindset and series of behaviors are likely to help or hinder their next level of evolution, and what might need to shift. Her clients are often over-identified with work, using it as a source of identity and self-worth. Mandy’s approach focuses on helping a leader to recalibrate their relationship to work, making them less prone to burnout, and to viewing success purely in career terms.
